I was just having a fascinating conversation over on Facebook with Jackie Gillard and #YMCCommunity member Christella Morris about Dallas Buyer's Club and how I really disliked it. We got to talking about a bunch of things and basically, I realized I'm sort of a misery about stuff around Oscar time every year.
I realized today that I really want to check out Sons of Anarchy and have been meaning to watch it for quite some time, except I just never did. So, tonight, I'm going to plop down and check out the first episode or two. And in deciding to watch SoA, I thought about all the great shows I recommend to people to check out all the time, and thought I'd share some of my favourites with you.
Ah, autumn. Back to school. The turning of leaves. And all the new episodes of television you can handle! There's a lot of shifting, new shows and returning favourites every year, but I've got my eye on a few that I think you should check out (if you weren't already planning on it).
I was in a “meeting” (surprise congrats to a GF at work who’s getting married next week) on Monday, when I returned from my desk with an e-mail from Erica Ehm herself. This has happened one or two times in the past, but it doesn’t get any less exciting. This time, Erica was informing me that I had been selected to be the new pop culture blogger at YummyMummyClub.ca. I did a happy dance at my desk (full disclosure, I moonlight as an online project manager at a big, awesome charity). My mind swirled. Will the YMC mums like me?
