Once upon a time, this used to be me when a new gadget, gizmo, or in this case, iPhone/iOS came out:

Along with the iPhone 5S and 5c, iOS7 was released last week, and I’ve been really quiet about it. Why? Because I waited this long to download it and give it a test run.
From the moment last summer that I first discovered the music-streaming app Songza, I fell in love with everything about it. It offered expert music playlists that were commercial free, and curated to fit exactly the mood I was in.
The latest version — Songza 3.0 is even better, which is hard to believe and yet it is true.

I was sitting at my desk, working, surrounded by Apple products. I read the news on my Mac at the same time as my iPhone alerted me to a breaking news update of his passing.
