why not drive your partner wild with anticipation?

Sexual Anticipation: Drive Your Partner Wild

You've probably heard that our brain is our biggest sex organ. So an easy way to get in themood when you're busy running around all day and have zero energy is...to create positive sexual anticipation.

Sexual desire refers to the thoughts you have about sex before, during, and after. And it can have a profound impact on the quality (and quantity) of your sexual experience.

Sexual anticipation can sometimes be as exciting as the actual event—and it's one of your most powerful tools to create a fabulous romantic encounter.

So why not drive your partner wild with anticipation?

Here's how.
Plan a wonderful, romantic evening to spoil your partner.

Write a sentence or two that gives your lover a hint about what they can expect. Put it into love notes, write it on bathroom mirrors or whisper it suggestively in your mate's ear.

Then give a little smile, walk away and let his or her imagination soar. Super simple and super effective.

How have you driven your partner wild with sexual anticipation?

When a Man's Sex Drive Takes a Nose Dive

Men are susestible to and suffer from periods of low sex drive.

When a Man's Sex Drive Takes a Nose Dive

It's assumed that it's always a woman whose sex drive is lagging. But both men and women are susceptible to and suffer from periods of low sex drive.

So what can you do if your guy's sex drive has taken a nose dive; you know he's not cheating, so what could it be?

Contrary to popular belief, men aren't always the horn-dogs they're made out to be. In fact, many times just the opposite is true and it's the female in the relationship who is has a higher sex drive.

There are many things that can negatively affect his sex drive.

The most common being when he is under a lot of stress due to work or other pressures. This is because high levels of cortisol, your body’s stress hormone, lowers testosterone levels. Less testosterone means he has less drive to have sex.

It's important for you two to figure out whether this is an on-going stress, or if it's simply a busy period in his life. If the stress isn't going away, you need to have a heart-to-heart chat about how this is affecting your relationship. Either way do your best to be supportive and help him figure out a way you two can make it through.

At the same time it's vital for you not to take this personally. Generally women put the blame on themselves when their guy doesn't want sex. Women think things like, "He doesn’t find me attractive" or "I must not be very good in bed."

Remember: It’s not you, it’s him and his circumstance.

Instead of leaving him in his "cave" make sure to show affection and understanding. Daily affectionate touch is the easiest way to relieve stress and make each other feel relaxed.

Four-stage Model of Sexual Response

Sex research duo Masters and Johnson studied more than 10,000 orgasms

Four-stage Model of Sexual Response

In the 1950s and 60s, Masters and Johnson studied sexual function in 700 people who agreed to have their sex or self-pleasure watched under close scientific scrutiny.

The researchers measured bodily responses and studied the vagina during orgasm by placing a camera in a clear plastic penis.

One important contribution was defining the four-stage model of sexual response, which they described as the human sexual response cycle defined as:
 Excitement phase (initial arousal)
Plateau phase (at full arousal, but not yet at orgasm)
 Orgasm
 Resolution phase (after orgasm)

Their findings, particularly female sexual arousal and orgasm dispelled many long-standing misconceptions and brought attention to sexual dysfunction.
