Once in a while I want to tell you about something I am working on. As most of you know I am the Creative Director of Daniel Thompson Beauty, but what some of you may not know is that I am also a paramedical aesthetician, a professor of cosmetic chemistry and a product developer.
Paramedical aestheticians are a subset of industry professionals who work primarily with dermatologists and surgeons providing skin treatments based on advanced technology based procedures. Basically, they are highly trained specialists that go beyond the basic skin care treatments provided at a spa, using lasers, microdermabrasion, peels and cosmeceutical grade topicals to create the healthiest skin possible.
In the last 10 years I have developed 14 different skincare collections and in the last year I have been working on two formulas that I consider game changers.
