Today on the Bsides, it's all about about Casey Shea.
And today marks the official release of Casey's third album, In Your Head, on Family Records.

Here's some new music that's been getting a lot of repeat action on my iPod lately... All compiled into one little playlist for you to check out...who knows you may discover your new favourite musical gem. Have fun listening.
Artist: Simon Spire
Similar Artists: Think a fusion of the musical stylings of Owl City, John Mayer, David Garza, ThePostal Service, Metro Station, Jason Collett, Matt White, Ryan Adams, Pete Yorn & Eric Hutchinson.
Album: Four-Letter Words
Single: Liberate Your Love
I came across this artist earlier this week when I was going through the new music releases on iTunes and I haven't stopped listening to him since.
So who is Steve Moakler? Think the musical vibe of Jason Mraz meets Jack Johnston meets John Mayer in his early days....with a touch of David Gray and David Garza thrown into the mix.
Manchester Orchestra is an indie rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. Their latest album, 'Simple Math' was released last week.
The band is headed by singer/songwriter/guitarist Andy Hull.
“I enjoyed every minute of making this record,” declares Ben. “I wanted to stay true to the heart and soul of the music, but give it a little bit of a makeover. In Britain, we do it in our own way. A lot of people still think I’m some ignorant little ASBO kid off a council estate. I think they’ll be shocked that I can actually sing. And write pretty cool songs.” ~Plan B
After a week filled with lackluster 'overly pitchy, not feeling it' performances on Amercian Idol and a really heinous song making the YouTube rounds a miilion times over...(FYI: I will unfriend and unfollow anyone who buys this song on iTunes...cross my heart).
