But my heart’s getting soft and my hands are so weak , And I don’t know where I’ve been but I’m sure you'll tell me ~Farewell Milwaukee ("The Wallpapers Gonna Swallow You Whole")
On May 17th, Minneapolis based Farewell Milwaukee released their sophomore album, When It Sinks In. Formed in 2008, Farewell Milwaukee has charted a course down familiar paths blazed by folks like Jackson Browne, Ryan Adams and the Jayhawks; all focused on the power of honest, confessional song writing with no pretence or ulterior motives.
For those who love the sounds of Blue Rodeo, Jim Cuddy, 54-40, The Tragically Hip and Skydiggers...you'll love this band.
