How AIR MILES for Business Can Benefit Your Small Business

A new rewards program just for business owners

How AIR MILES for Business Can Benefit Your Small Business

How AIR MILES for Business Can Benefit Your Small Business
We’re not coupon clippers, we’d never dream of leaving the house on December 26th, and we rarely open daily deal emails. That being said, we love a good rewards program. We collect points on everything from books to groceries. After all, what’s better than getting rewarded to do something we were going to do anyway?

But for years we lacked a rewards program for our business purchasing. Now, with the introduction of a new rewards program, business owners have it easy. The AIR MILES, Reward Program, already used by thousands of Canadians, has introduced AIR MILES for Business. It makes perfect sense. As small business owners, we’re constantly pulling out our wallets to buy office supplies, book travel, and fill up our gas tanks. Now each time we open our wallets we can collect points and earn rewards at the same time.

Exclusive Rewards for business owners

The AIR MILES for Business program has exclusive rewards tailored just for business owners. Need a pack of pens? Check. How about office equipment like phones, shredders and computers? Done.

But what about promotional products, marketing services, subscriptions to business publications and entry fees to business conferences? Believe it or not, yes — these are all rewards that business owners can claim with this new program. Want to hear our favourite part? There are lots of cool travel packages included among the rewards. Everything from weekend getaways to serious travel adventures await. We’ve always been pretty frugal when it comes to our business expenses, but a program like this just might make spending a little more fun.

Supporting small businesses

AIR MILES is also getting behind small business owners by bringing you the 2014 Small Business Achievement Awards. Small business owners can enter in one of five categories, and we’re sure that one of these is right for you: Small Business of the Year, Start-Up of the Year, Innovation of the Year, and Social Impact and Youth Entrepreneur of the Year.

Award winners receive mentorship sessions from some of Canada’s most well-regarded business leaders such as Kevin O’Leary, Chairman of O’Leary Funds and judge on CBC’s Dragon’s Den, Howard Grosfield, President of American Express and Steve Matyas, President of Staples. If that’s not enough to tempt you, you could also receive 10,000 AIR MILES and a feature in PROFIT Magazine. The winners will be flown to Toronto for the awards ceremony, taking place on February 24th, 2014.

Nominations close December 31st, so don’t delay. We’ll be encouraging our clients to put themselves forward for this cool award, and you should enter too!

We always say that nothing is easier than spending money — it’s keeping it in your pocket that’s challenging. Fortunately AIR MILES for business is making it just a little bit easier.
