basement makeover

Our basement is one of the reasons we bought our house. It is a huge, open space, complete with a wood burning fireplace. Nova Scotia Fine Art

Maritime Masterpieces

I am always inspired when I come home to Nova Scotia. This summer I want to share with you two incredibly talented Nova a Scotian artsts, Tom Alway and Peter Blais. I have loved their work for a long time but this is the first summer in ages that I have been able to spend time with them in their quant gallery, called The Maritime Painted Saltbox

Their work captures Nova Scotia perfectly. The images and the colours say home to me.

It was a thrill to shoot my first client's space for the show. Thanks Kate! xo
