When I was in my twenties, after graduating from university and college, I was an intern at Entertainment Tonight in Hollywood. I remember wearing a pair of beige suede-type pants from Guess, with a leopard print top, and sitting in Mary Hart's chair. Lights all around me, cameras in place, I imagined how exciting a career in front of the camera would be. I got to live that dream for a few years, when I worked as a reporter for a show on Rogers called Ottawa Living, and as a news reporter for a radio station.
