“You mean you didn’t stay in a town?”
But then I had a baby. And all of a sudden, I had a hard time leaving the house. How in the world was I going to get away if I couldn’t even get outside? Of course we eventually got more settled and I wanted to travel before my maternity leave was up. But backpacking? No longer appealed. Maybe it’s because I’m (ahem) older now too, but the idea of sleeping in a cramped room on a tiny bed no longer seemed doable. And sharing a bathroom? You’ve got to be kidding! Our first trip with baby was at a big All-Inclusive resort in Cuba. And you know what? We had a wonderful time.___________________________________________________
