To cook a whole squash, wash the outside, cut it in half, and scoop out all of the seeds. Then put the two halves back together and wrap it in parchment paper and then tinfoil. Set it on a small cookie sheet and bake at 400F for 45 minutes to an hour—depending on size. Take it out of the oven and scoop all of the orange out with a spoon. In a dish, mash well with a bit of butter, and voila! No cutting up, no peeling, and absolutely beautiful, perfect squash every time. Yum!
