Shoes on the Right Feet — Every Time!

Preschool and kindergarten just wouldn't be the same without the kids whose shoes are perpetually on the wrong feet. It's a cute and carefree look, and many children do not notice any discomfort.

As a new kindergarten teacher, before having kids of my own, I often just let it go. Now I know that over time, it could damage little feet. For those of us managing many young kids at once, the best solution has to be fun and easy to remember.

Put smiley faces on the inside arches of each shoe. Instructions to the kids: Make sure that these two friends smile at each other all day. You could even go one further and say that they have to kiss. But you need to know your audience!
