Quick Silverware — No Polishing Required!

Stop wasting your time polishing! Make your silver sparkle by doing this easy trick instead.

Materials required:

Aluminum Foil
4 tbsp baking soda
4 tbsp salt
Boiling water
Large pot
Strainer
Towel and tongs
Silver flatware

Place foil into the bottom of the pot and spread flatware out (pieces not touching each other)

Cover with water completely and add baking soda and salt.

Bring to a boil for two to four minutes, depending on degree of tarnish. (No longer as salt could corrode silver with time).

Use tongs to put pieces into strainer, then check under the foil to be sure everything is out.

Rinse with cold water and buff dry. Repeat.
